BTAA arXiv Agreement

The Big Ten Academic Alliance and arXiv announced a three-year (2022-2024) collective action agreement that provides support at the champion level for the fifteen member libraries. With this agreement, the institutions of the BTAA assert their principled commitment to a more equitable society and help open scholarship for worldwide public good.

arXiv is an open access research-sharing platform that currently hosts over two million scholarly articles in eight major fields, including physics, mathematics, and computer science. Beyond content curation and preservation, arXiv provides researchers with a variety of services including the submission of articles, compilation, production, retrieval, search and discovery, web distribution for human readers, and API access for machines.
