Shared Print Repositories 1 & 2

The current Shared Print  Program is grounded in two historic projects, SPR1 (hosted at Indiana University)  and SPR2 (hosted at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). Both SPRs focused on securing commonly held journal titles. More than a foundation for the expanding BTAA Shared Print Program, the print collections developed through these two projects remain an important element of the BTAA’s shared collection. While no longer growing as collections, the more than half million journal volumes held at Indiana and Illinois continue to be actively stewarded in high quality environmental conditions and made available to users.
