The University of Maryland's Division of Research and A. James Clark School of Engineering are hosting a Capitol Hill event on July 16, 2015 that will explore how UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) technologies will impact our society.
Sponsored by the CIC, the event will feature panelists from the FAA, industry, and experts from the University of Michigan and the University of Maryland.
The University of Maryland's Research on the Hill series explores critical societal issues through both a research and policy lens. Past Research on the Hill events have brought academic, industry, and government leaders together to explore topics ranging from traumatic brain injury to disaster resilience.
