The Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions have collaborated to organize interactive, informational and informative events for Cybersecurity Month! 

Join us in October for a dynamic, month-long cybersecurity awareness series designed to engage, educate, and empower our higher education community. Each week features a unique event spotlighting critical aspects of digital security—from interactive competitions and expert panels to real-world cautionary tales and live ethical hacking demonstrations. Whether you're looking to test your cyber skills, learn from a panel of BTAA CISOs, hear chilling stories of cyber threats, or understand the human element of security, this series offers something for everyone.

Together, we’ll explore how to build a culture of awareness and resilience that supports the mission of teaching, learning, and research in today’s evolving digital landscape.

Our panelists will cover topics related to risk within our organizations, how to build and deliver a strong security awareness program and culture, and where they see the security space evolving to further educate and promote security in the higher education space.

Rachel Tobac: Exploiting Trust - The Human Element of Security
