Aspiring students now have a new tool to use when exploring graduate school opportunities. With the launch of the CIC's "Gateway to Graduate Education" portal, students can find information on CIC universities, links to university graduate admissions web sites, and links to CIC programs, all in one place.
Offering more than 1,850 different programs of study, CIC universities have extensive opportunities and resources to offer graduate students.
Leading the nation with:
- $8 billion in funded research (far more than the Ivy League schools’ $4.2 billion or the University of California system’s $5.2 billion).
- 79 million book volumes--vs. that of the 10 campuses of the University of California system (34 million) and the eight universities of the Ivy League (68.8 million).
- Graduate degrees--CIC universities graduate almost 15% of total doctoral degrees, 17% of engineering Ph.D. degrees, and over 15% of the agricultural Ph.D. degrees granted in the U.S. each year.
The universities of the CIC are leading a new era of research and education that benefits students, communities, and the world. Explore your potential through the Gateway to Graduate Education and see how joining a CIC university expands your opportunities exponentially across the breadth of the 13 campuses.
