As students flood back onto campuses this month, those at CIC universities are able to benefit from opportunities extending far beyond just what is available at their school. As this Lincoln Journal-Star article highlights, CIC students have increased access to resources, international opportunities, and shared courses.
With access to programs such as the Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) that prepares underrepresented undergraduates for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities; and Traveling Scholars, where doctoral students can pursue specialized courses of study not available at their own school, students at CIC universities benefit from the academic prowess of the collected footprint of the CIC.
