CIC Delegation Heads to India For International Higher Ed Conference

A delegation of CIC staff led by Director Barbara McFadden Allen will participate in the upcoming Fourth Global Meeting of Associations of Universities in New Dehli. The conference, "Internationalization of Higher Education: New Players, New Approaches" opens April 11 and is sponsored by the International Association of Universities.

The CIC delegation also includes Karen Partlow, Associate Director, Technology Collaboration, and Jeff Oberg, Assistant Director for Business Operations.

Last April, a group of CIC faculty and administrators selected by the CIC Senior International Officers traveled to New Delhi to engage in talks about possible collaborative academic opportunities at the invitation of the Indian government.

The upcoming visit represents another opportunity to build upon relationships previously established and to further deepen the ongoing discussions.
