Faculty of specialized, low-enrollment courses are encouraged to consider opening such classes for the 2010-11 academic year to other CIC universities through the CourseShare program. Courses already on the fall docket include Classical Japanese and other less commonly taught languages, Political Methods, Social Network Analysis, Asian American Studies, Ethnomusicology, and Radiation Science.
CourseShare capitalizes on distance-learning technology and allows CIC member universities to increase student access, fill curricular gaps and expand enrollment. Interested faculty should contact Amber Marks (aemarks@staff.cic.net) by March 1 to make arrangements for fall.
