2019 Women in IT Virtual Conference

Lead From Where You Are is the first virtual conference sponsored by the Big Ten Academic Alliance Women in IT (WIT) peer group. Occurring Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:30-4:15pm Eastern, the conference will include two keynote speakers, as well as a panel of three women at different stages of their IT careers.

Lead From Where You Are
 is the first virtual conference sponsored by the Big Ten Academic Alliance Women in IT (WIT) peer group.

Occurring Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:30-4:15pm Eastern, the conference will include two keynote speakers, as well as a panel of three women at different stages of their IT careers.

The virtual conference is free and all are welcome to attend.

Maureen Biggers



Keynote Maureen Biggers, Director of Indiana University's Center of Excellence for Women in Technology, will be discussing inclusive work practices and unconscious bias.





Ana Hunsinger

Keynote Ana Hunsinger, Vice President Community Engagement at Internet2, will discuss championing women in IT.





The Career panel speakers include: Diane Dagefoerde (Ohio State), Kaylah Norris (Rutgers) and Laura Farvour (University of Minnesota).
