Connections, Collaborations, and Opportunities Abound for New CIC Member University

Access to library resources, leadership development programs, and increased Study Abroad opportunities are some of the early benefits to membership in the CIC, as outlined in a recent article in the University of Maryland's student newspaper, The Diamondback.
The University of Maryland became an official member of the CIC on July 1, 2013, but participation in the consortium's activities started in late spring.
"Students will first have access to CIC resources this fall, officials said, with more to come gradually.

“It’s been very welcoming and enabling and extraordinary,” Rankin said. “We had understood what the CIC was able to do, and now we’re starting to get the advantages.”
